Collector Edition Pen Descriptions

Below are brief descriptions of our collector edition pens. It is very difficult to put into words the beauty of these creations, so please stop by to see for yourself.

Eagle

The 'Eagle' pen is our ‘top-of-the-line’ collector quality pen which offers perfect balance and style. The end caps are engraved with lotus flower patterns and the accent bands have coordinating engravings which represent earth and water. The satin rhodium end caps are designed to compliment the polished rhodium bands that surround the gold or black titanium accent bands. The engraved inserts on the cap and barrel ends are hand-cast and, combined with the brilliant rhodium plating, bring together all the elements for this beautiful and distinctive pen. The pen is not designed to be used with the cap attached and to have perfect balance to achieve effortless writing with every use. The fountain pen nib is German-made 22k gold/rhodium plated with a genuine iridium point for smooth, effortless writing. The rollerball version is provided with a ceramic tipped cartridge for the same effortless writing. The Eagle is approximately 5 ¾” long by 5/8” diameter.

Osprey

The ‘Osprey’ is a pen which offers balance and style comparable to the Coeur d’Alene using a theme based upon bamboo features which represent strength, grace and longevity. Hand carved patterns are individually cast, polished, 22k gold or black titanium plated then surrounded by rhodium plated fittings. The Osprey is not designed to be used with the cap attached and to have perfect balance to achieve effortless writing with every use. The fountain pen nib is German-made 22k gold/rhodium plated with a genuine iridium point for smooth, effortless writing. The rollerball version is provided with a ceramic tipped cartridge for the same effortless writing. Quality and elegance radiate from the Osprey. Finished size is approximately 5 5/8” x 5/8”.

Sawtooth

Discriminating collectors will appreciate the ‘Sawtooth’ pen. Using the highest quality components available, the Sawtooth uses black titanium or 22k gold hand-cast, engraved inserts which are embedded in polished rhodium plated caps and barrels. The Sawtooth is designed to be used without the cap attached to the pen which ensures perfect balance and smooth writing. The Sawtooth is available in rollerball or fountain versions. The fountain pen gets its smoothness from a genuine iridium tipped, two tone German-made nib. The rollerball is supplied with a ceramic tipped Schmidt cartridge for perfectly smooth writing. Approximate size is 5 ¾” x 11/16”

Bitterroot (Stars & Stripes version)
The ‘Bitterroot’ is a somewhat downsized version of the Sawtooth pen and is one of our most elegant jr sized collector pens. As with all our collector pens, the components are hand-cast and engraved to ensure the highest quality and distinctive pen. The Bitterroot is available to post the cap (attach to the endcap when open) or to leave it separate; either way is designed to have perfect balance to achieve effortless writing with every use. The fountain pen nib is German-made 22k gold/rhodium plated with a genuine iridium point for smooth, effortless writing. The rollerball version is provided with a ceramic tipped cartridge for the same effortless writing. Approximate finished size is 5 ¼" x ½”.

The 'Stars & Stripes' version is a rendition of the American flag. 50 laser cut, white curly maple veneer stars are inlaid into a blue curly maple or boxelder background cap. 7 red curly maple or boxelder stripes & white curly maple veneer stripes are laser cut and inlaid to form the other end of the pen. A maple presentation box with the Pledge of Allegiance laser engraved is also included so that the perfect display is created. This version is available in rollerball or fountain versions by special order.
